Jeff Affleck (CEO) started Mascon in 2014 with nothing but a dream and 30 years of experience in the Restoration and Construction Industry to back him. The goal always being to leave a lasting mark in the Kingston and surrounding areas, as a family owned and operated company, Jeff stands firmly on our company motto “In our work we have pride, Quality is what we provide”.
Initially Mascon’s primary focus was on commercial property management firms in need of restoration work, but Mascon quickly expanded into the construction industry taking on Residential and Commercial fit ups.

Fast forward ten years and Ben Affleck has Become President taking over the Family Business. With a new age of technology and years of experience working on site Ben drove the expansion of Mascon into Ottawa while using current and past relationships to strengthen our footprint in Ottawa.
With the Expansion came the need to build a strong team that holds the same goals and values we’ve held since opening in 2014, having pushed Mascon into the Ottawa market and further into the construction industry, the team we have in place not only has the Mascon values they also have a reputation for their workmanship, honest pricing and exceptional communication skills with clientele.

In 2021 Mascon took on its biggest project to date, renovating eighty-six kitchens in the Kingston area for a low-income housing co-op. With a strict schedule of one year to complete Mascon was executing three full kitchens renovations per week from flooring, cabinet, and drywall replacements to the final touches of painting and cleaning the project was completed in just eight months

At Mascon we believe helping the community is not just a want but a need, in the beginning years of Mascon we started our charity work small helping local organizations such as Marthas Table. Since the expansion of Mascon we’ve been able to extend our efforts in community engagement and involvement, so in 2023 we started Mascon’s “Restoring Mental Health Charity Golf Tournament” since then we’ve held and will continue to hold this event yearly in order to help local organizations such as “AMHS” and “KGH Inpatient Mental Health Services”. Since 2023 we’ve raised $40,000.00 for organizations in our community helping those struggling with Mental Health and Addiction issues.
